Healthy-U Pharmacy provides a private consultation service for the diagnosis and treatment of menopause-related symptoms through the prescription of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). This includes:
– Initial assessment and full consultation.
– Personalised HRT treatment plans.
– Follow-up review appointments.
3. Eligibility
To use this service, you must:
– Be aged 18 or over.
– Identify as female or have a clinical need for HRT.
– Be based in England.
– Provide accurate medical history and consent to treatment.
We can notify your NHS GP about your HRT treatment at Healthy-U Pharmacy upon your request and with your written consent.
4. Fees and Payment
– The cost of the initial HRT consultation is £250.
– Each review appointment is charged at £200.
– Payment must be made in full at the time of booking through our secure online platform.
– Once payment has been made, fees are non-refundable, regardless of attendance or outcome.
5. Booking and Cancellations
– Appointments can be booked via our website.
– You may reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.
– Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
– Healthy-U Pharmacy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances.
6. Clinical Process
– The consultation includes a review of symptoms, medical history, and suitability for HRT.
– Blood tests may be recommended based on clinical indication.
– You will be provided with a personalised treatment plan which may include prescriptions for HRT, lifestyle advice, and monitoring guidelines.
– Your treatment will be delivered by a qualified healthcare professional who is an Independent Prescriber.
7. Prescriptions and Medication
– Prescriptions will only be issued where clinically appropriate.
– Medications are dispensed by Healthy-U Pharmacy or can be sent to your nominated pharmacy.
– A fee will apply for any medication dispensed by Healthy-U Pharmacy.
– Patients have the option to have the prescription posted to their home address.
– There will be additional costs associated with the supply of medications, which vary depending on the product.
8. Review Appointments
– Reviews are typically scheduled 3 months after starting treatment and then annually or as clinically required.
– Review appointments are charged at £200 and include follow-up, adjustments to treatment, and any required documentation.
9. Data Protection and Confidentiality
– All information provided during your consultation is confidential.
– We comply with all relevant UK data protection laws including GDPR.
– Your information will only be shared with third parties involved in your care, with your consent.
10. Limitations of Service
– This service is not suitable for emergency or acute care.
